Border View Lodge is a luxurious holiday lodge. A barn conversion, recently completed, now serves a new purpose. It’s on the Shropshire/Powys border and has panoramic views over seven counties. Nestled on a working farm, this Welshpool lodge offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury.
Our luxury holiday lodge has a big patio with a hot tub. It is a perfect spot for couples, families, and friends to relax and spend time together. The property has been finished to a very high standard. It has oak floors with underfloor heating. There’s a light and airy open-plan kitchen and living area with a log-burning stove. It also has two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms.

We booked Border View Lodge direct with owners Mike and Nicky for the 7th-14th June. The information pack sent through was excellent and set the tone for the service offered by the owners who could not be more helpful. They live on site and are always available with help and advice. The Lodge itself is beautiful. Thoughtfully appointed and extremely comfortable. Everything inside and out is quality. The walks from the door in and around the farm are excellent and the views from the hill behind stretch for miles if the view from the Lodge itself is not enough. Sitting in the hot tub at the end of a day walking is a fantastic treat. We have stayed in many cottages/lodges with several different companies but this one is absolutely one of, if not the best. Welshpool and Shrewsbury are close by, as well as excellent walks like The Wrekin and Church Streton. The pictures of the lodge although good don't really do the lodge and it's view justice. If you are looking at staying in mid Wales this accomadation is more than worth a visit. I can't recommend the Lodge and Mike and Nicky highly enough. We enjoyed it so much we ended up booking an extra three night. Thanks again Mike and Nicky, Rob and Ang Jones, South Wales.
